    water is very important. especially if you have water like mine. I use well water and it is
    insanely hard and alkaline. I started doing additions after 4 years of brewing and saw (tasted)
    a difference...

    i always use us-05 on my house oat stout. It gets it a bit dryer than us-04. 04 will tend to
    not attenuate down as much, and leave it a bit sweet. I like my stouts dry.

    im a subsistance fisherman, and prefer to target fish that go in my freezer to feed my family
    for the winter. Favorites are kokanee and catfish. Our best trip last year was 76 kokanee in 3
