Completely disagree with the above posters.First, the "8 purges at 25psi thing" is for a
completely full keg. If your keg is half empty, you'll need many more purges than that, likely

it will take a few weeks for it to carb at 15 psi. i usually put 30-35 psi to it for 2 days,
right when it goes into the keezer, and its usually spot on. Thats 2 days for warm beer. If you

i really dont see a problem. co2 doesnt "go bad" and most tanks you will get in an exchange are
going to be pretty old anyway. Never buy a new tank, unless yu have a way to re fill it

its not really stirring, but im constantly scrapping the sides of the pot with hot wort and my
big spoon to keep the gunk off. It helps with cleanup. Other than that, stirring is

worthless.......easier to just google it and look for the results that have something to do
