You would weld this to your kettle then attach the valve to it.

Well, yeah, that's true. But if you use that method you'll be drinking beer in two weeks. If
you're willing to shake things up a bit, you could be enjoying a nice, frosty, delicious
    homebrew tomorrow....

Are you going to offer these in larger configurations? I'm going to start with 2 taps but would
probably be looking at a 4+ tap setup in the near future.

MicroMatic retails them at $660 for a 4-tap and $1150 for an 8-tap(double ped), Keg Cowboy also
has a 6-tap with perlicks for $580, which is a steal, so if you can get one pretty cheap I'd
    pick it up.

Use quality extension cords rated for your amperage and you'll be fine. I do 5 gallon batches
with dual elements, 2000w and 1500w, and it works great since I've got two separate gfi
    circuits in my kit...

Mostly 12 oz, some odd 22's in Ames, hit me up for details.

  • Posted in thread: What does your element look like? on 11-07-2010 at 05:54 AM
Mine clean up pretty well, just a little soap and scrubbing, six brews and still going good,
not a long track record but not too bad.

Anyone have a good idea about how to make a false bottom cheaply and quickly? It needs to be
roughly 18" in diameter.Just use a SS braid, if it works, then I'd worry about investing or
    building a fals...

So it's ok if I let this sit for two weeks then rack?
