    I'm not really a beer fan (joined while trying to make cider), but Red Oak is about the only
    beer I've ever tried that I really liked. I'm just a stones throw away now, and even a couple
    towns over it...

    Never made it myself, but maaaaan I love Blackberry wine. Stuff is dangerous, sweet, blackberry
    and almost no alcohol bite to the stuff I tried. (Duplin - it's 100% blackberry, not blackberry

    Saw another thread mention elevated fermentation temps were connected with esthers & fruity
    flavor (in beer, not desirable). What about fermenting cider warm? Any experience with that?

    fairly liberal about alcohol, it sure was hard to find any. Here in NC you can buy beer & wine
    at the grocer...

    The chalk line sounds almost like vodoo, but it does make sense. The bring back baits work
    wonders too. Kills the whole colony.
