  • Brewing for 22+ years now. I got into brewing when I was in high school. I've always enjoyed making stuff myself and thought I could make beer as well. Read numerous, well a couple at that time, books about it and mentally prepared myself. Joined the military and didn't have time until a couple years later. Made my first batch with some old ingredients, didn't control fermentation temps and didn't really know what to expect. It was drinkable and I was hooked. Went through most of the equipment that seems everyone does. Made maybe three extract batches when I stepped up to AG. Been making most of my gear until I finally stepped up the Alpha Ruby. Future plans are opening a homebrew store to serve my local market which, surprisingly, has a ton of homebrewers. Eventually I want to start a brewery and incorporate the homebrew shop into that. Never want to give up my past, but also am looking for something to do into retirement.

Super small diameter. Or maybe it's the bad angle the pictures were taken at. But it only looks
    to be about 4-5".

This is "General Beer Discussion"? Looks more like a vendor giveaway, of which there is a
specific forum for such things. Also, why am I being spammed in my email by a post from your
    side project?
