Here is the route I would go BTU so you can do your small batches and get it up to boil quick,
or do some larger batches and this thing almost sips propane for how big it is.

Youre beer is going to be fine, it may impact the body but in such a small amount that you
probably wont notice. Youre just boosting the ABV
