  • I started brewing about a year ago..got a Mr.beer kit for X-Mas from a friend and have never looked back....used it twice and moved on to glass and extract/grain...only have one all grain under my belt to date..an Imperial stout

    Have a good size magnet hold it on the outside of the flask/beaker of the starter to hold the
    bar in place and dump into the fermenter:mug: stir bar stays in place:rockin:

    What was the temp you pitched at? did you see signs of vigorious fermentation? reading your OP
    you didnt mention cooling the 20L of boiling water after you mixed it all up befor you added
