I must have the wrong job I just dont have all the money you do,to waste on new o-rings if they

I brew with the water that comes out of my water softener as well. I have never noticed any bad
taste from it.

you can use a heating pad under the carboy and wrap a dry towel around it to help keep it warm,
its worked for me in the past.
