The old Valley Brewing Equipment mill, which was hand cranked, had a hopper which directed the
grain to the middle of the 8" grinders. I read elsewhere on this forum that that can lead to

Yes, your correct. The motor itself is putting out around 1.07 lb-ft of torque (12.9 lb-in) but
at the grinder it's at 8.29 lb-ft (99.5 lb-in).The motor doesn't have a capacitor yet so I

I am about halfway done with my grain mill project and I am thinking that I might need a
different motor. Before I spend to much more time on it I thought I might get your opinion. I'm
using a 1/3hp 1...
