  • I am very new to home brewing. I am unable to consume gluten (Celiac Disease), but love beer. Always have, always will. I have been drinking the commercially available gluten free beers and they are great. Both my brother and a very close friend of mine home brew and they have convinced me that brewing a GF beer is within my capabilities. I have lots to learn, but I'm ready and willing.

    I make my starters with Briess' White Sorghum Syrup 45 DE. I use 4 ozs of sorghum in 32 ozs
    water. This gives me a starting gravity of 1.035.
