I use a paint strainer bag in an igloo drinking water cooler. I call it "mash in a bag".

it fermented for 2 weeks. i checked the gravity at start of the 2 weeks then at bottling, it
seemed done fermenting. i added the sugar to the bottling bucket with about 2 inches of brew in
