I almost gave up on beer because I didn't know what good beer was. I was tired of drinking Coors Light and Bud Light and didn't really bother to try any of the more expensive brands because I did not think it would be worth it.
I stopped drinking beer for a few months until my wife found a Mr. Beer Kit at Bed Bath and Beyond for only $15, and I thought I would give it a try. After searching the internets, I found this website and read a few posts. After reading about the wide variety of good beer that really is out there I decided to go to a specialty beer store I had heard about. I bought a growler of Doppelbock and a few bottles of some other stuff and became a born-again beer drinker and noob homebrewer.
Now I have a 5 gallon kit and just recently acquired a carboy. I brew extract kits with steeping grains right now but plan on eventually moving on to all-grain. I'm enjoying the hunt for the best deals on all-grain brewing equipment and this site has helped out a lot.

Its glass. Aside from it being really dusty theres no cracks, just some small scratches on the
bottom. As for the change, I got to keep it. I'll put it into my beer ingredient fund :rockin:
