  As everyone has pointed out, the foam is fine. But if it still bothers you, try Sani-clean.
  It's the low foaming version of Star-san and works just as well.

  It's not wired. It will ship just as they do from the vendor - the controller and 5 foot temp
  probe. They're extremely easy to wire and program to your application.
