  • My parents got me a homebrew kit for Xmas, I'd been interested in trying it previously but never quite had the funds to start it up.
    I currently have a 60qt aluminum kettle, 7g carboy, 6.5g carboy, 6g brew bucket, and more bottles than I really care to count.

    I've been using 20 pounds of ice in a large cooler and adding water til the kettle floats then
    agitate til cool. I can get it from boiling to pitching temp in about 30 minutes.
