Took reading today it's down to 1.000. Tried sample and it had a slight medicine taste and

Ok so its been one month of fermentation. Going to take a reading in the next day or two and

Will do. I want to add some heat to the mead (spicy). I was thinking of adding it when
fermentation is done and checking it every other day till I get the desired heat then racking
to secondary to age...
