    I cut one of those green 3M scrubby pads into strips and essentially do the same "flossing"
    technique. Works well.

    Why not just cold crash in the keg? That's what I do, after a day or 2 I add gelatin if I feel
    like it.I do that too. It all depends on if i have more room in the fermentation chamber or in
    the keezer

    I use the S-type airlock filled with starsan when cold crashing. Those ones will allow the
    reverse airflow without sucking the liquid back in.

    I've had this same problem with my Brew Boss (non cofi) using wilser bags. Their are certain
    grain bills (or too fine a crush) that will contribute to the equivalent of a stuck sparge in
    the recircula...

    Why not put it in the ferm chamber first and get down to 55F and then pitch? Thats what I
    usually do.

    and had no issues. Anything that slips into the wort will settle out in fermentation. Mine
