    If you have an air lock, when the bubbles have slowed or have stopped is when I start
    checking.A lot depends on what is in your cider, how much sugars, raisins etc... it can take
    quite a while to full...

    I had a couple of requests to make carbonator caps and found amazon has raised the spare caps
    to $6.95 :( (3/21/14).
