  • Started brewing in 1997. First all grain batch 2002. Moved in 2004 and didn't brew for a while. Built my current system in my barn and started brewing again in June 2009.

    Generally, capacitors don't blow due to age, although older caps are more prone to failure. In
    this instance, since they are a motor STARTING capacitors, repeated starts under load will
    cause failure....
