Started brewing in January of 2010 after getting started with a basic kit and the help of two knowledgeable friends.
I'm constantly learning and improving each batch I make. I have come to appreciate and view brewing as not only a hobby but as an art where there are no limits. - Flying,Brewing,Backpacking

Started brewing in January of 2010.
Currently using a Bayou Classic SQ-14 burner with a Bayou Classic 36qt (9 gallon) stainless pot. I do mostly all-grain with a 10 gallon cooler. Avid BN Army listener on my long drive to work but have yet to call in for drunk of the week. I've been thinking about getting into kegging but don't mind bottling too much at this point. - Rye Saison, Houblon Clone, Janet's Brown Ale
- BM's Kona Fire Rock APA
- Not currently needed
- Galley Wench IPA, Midnight Moo Stout, Farmhouse Double IPA, Centennial Blonde
- No kegs yet...

The efficiency is astounding. It holds heat like a boss, and you can shut it down when you are

I am using a medium big green egg and have two racks of St. Louis style ribs that I will have
to cut in half to get them on the egg. If I use the grill extender and place a rack or two of
ribs on that...Posted in thread: Should I be worried? on 04-16-2013 at 03:12 AM
Some rhizomes just may not be viable. Might as well give it some time and see. Probably not too
late to find another rhizome at your local homebrew store in case.Posted in thread: Should I be worried? on 04-15-2013 at 01:46 PM
How long ago were they planted? Did your Hallertau have white buds or eyes when you planted
them? I'd give them some time. My first year I had 3 of 4 grow.Posted in thread: I should've put a blowoff on last night... on 02-01-2013 at 01:45 PM
