Hey, this thread may be on the expired side, but I'm curious. Did you guys ever get this idea
tested? I would love to implement it on my Raspberry Pi controlled rig.

Here is a question to anybody using an electric bbq igniter.I am using the 3 probe igniter on
my rig that I am building. It is controlled via Arduino -> Shift register -> Relay -> Igniter.
    The problem...

These valves are not a great choice for propane. You really want a standing pilot furnace valve
with safety shutoff especially if you anticipate brewing outdoors. You see, propane is heavier
    than air ...

Hey all, I realize this thread is about propane valves, but it still seems like a good place to
post this.I found a supplier in China for SS 1/2 NPT electric (12VDC) ball valves. Only $24

I just recently overcame this same problem. I went to Lowe's and found large piping support
brackets(2.5" and 3"). They were in the miscellaneous piping section. I had to modify them
    somewhat to encou...

JonW,That's a good point. I was also considering using cheap on/off valves at the entry/exit
points of the kegs to automate the flow path, and maybe a single proportional valve (automated
    or manual) i...

Yes, it sounds very simple. But you are saying the cheap-o valves that I mentioned will not
work in this fashion, and I should get the Honeywell ones from Grainger. Are they able to mount
    on any ball ...
