Not sure how much it would help with the heat issue but, you could use just one SSR to control
your heating element since that is all that is "required".

When you are finished mashing, just unplug the MLT or the HLT and plug in the BK in its place.
You still have contactors controlling the elements and a dedicated main power contactor.
