  • I love craft beer. I have a number of friends who are homebrewers. I figured I'd give it a shot, and I'm now geeking out on beer. I tried a number of extract brewing/specialty steep recipes, then a few BIABs. Since, I've built a mash tun and a DIY stir plate from recycled computer parts, and I've brewed a number of all-grain beers including a partigyle. I'm currently hooked on all-grain brewing.

This produced a beautiful thick new SCOBY. I left it going for almost 3 weeks. The resulting
Kombucha is quite tart but I rather like it :) just bottled and I'm starting a second batch :)

at the end of the year. Gonna use WLP090 (San Diego super). Do you think 2# honey malt would be
    too much?
