    if your city draws from a resevoir, dont worry. I know some east coast places with some pretty
    nasty water that i would not use for brewing...Just depends where you are.

    im sure theres a water profile online for your region.. but ya if it tastes good, brew on.
    (unless its some burton ale with hard water)

    sounds fine. any vessel can act like a secondary, i just find using my keg as a clearing device
    doesnt work well unless you cut your dip tube to avoid sucking up the **** on the bottom.also

    some beers just wont clear up like others, they are clear at room temp then you get chill haze.

    i poured my cake into a mason jar and pitched half of it. seemed more conveniant and cleaner.
    fermentation is off to the races.
