  • Like so many others, Mr. Beer got me hooked . I quickly begin investing money & time into better ways of brewing .. I really started researching all the info I could obtain from the LHBS, the internet which there is tons of it from You tube to numerous homebrewing websites. It is so much fun! I have really got an obsession now with this hobby. After almost 1 year after starting home brewing I am still amazed how I can make better beer than ANY store bought beer. Yes, I prefer my beer over any Guinness, SN, Chimay, Anchor, Boulevard, or Sam Adams! My wife is really cool about my latest obsession and is very supportive even though she never drinks beer. :)

I like all kinds of beer, but favor Pale Ales, stouts, and occassionally a wheat beer.

Favorite beers: Full Sail Amber, Flying Dog Doggie Style Pale Ale, Sierra Nevada Wheat, Sam Adams Cream Stout , Left Hand Milk Stout

Now doing all grain brewing. Have brewed about 20 5g batches

I did this all grain and I was happy with the taste but the head retention was lacking and
there was absolutely no lacing. I hand wash only my beer glasses, so it was not an issue of any
    dry jet or ot...
