Stang, try this, get a 3 ft. small (1/4 - 3/8") piece of steel rod. chuck it in a drill, and
wind that stuff around it. you prob. wont get it all, but i bet you'd get mor than you think!

what about country wines? blackberry, apple, etc. do these need to be degassed? i've never done

i've only made the 5 gal. batch. made the cranberry and the blackberry. BOTH were very full
bodied, and very good! i think (for me anyways) the 3 gal. would be too heavy. .02

never used the bottled flaver but i always but dried elderberrys in mine, makes the cider a
nice purple color. more body also.
