    mattdee.. I know what you mean but I also wanted to try and see if it worked.. by adding 05
    yeast.. I don't think it will change the flavor profile but will make it a little dryer as I'm
    not a big fan...

    I skipped the sweet addtions (don't like sweet porter/stout) and added a lb of amber malt
    instead of crystal cause its what I had on hand.. subbed bram cross hops cause its what I had

    5 a while ago and just did 10 today so 5803 + 15 =5818 gallons though todays OG hit a little
    high at 1.045 and slightly more 5 min hops

    after a few weeks in the keg its outstanding. I posted earlier that next time I will add a lb
    more grain and more hops .. im not sure that I will, for what it is its very tasty and
