  • I've always been a fan of beer since I can remember. I've been on a mission to try as many different beers a possible for the last 6-7 years. I enjoy beer because of the seemingly endless varieties and flavours possible. I started homebrewing in November 2008 after wanting to get started for a few years but never had the time/space. I now have a whole new appreciation and fascination with beer.

I'm guessing the Crystal in that recipe is to be steeped for the whole boil? Do I need to have
the grains crushed or simply steep them whole?(I've never brewed an extract+grain recipe
    before)

I've never had a single bubble come out my airlock in my current primary, and my beers come out
just fine. Airlocks are not a fermentation measurement device. They're just an airlock. Trust
