Was this recipe with 2 lb of apple cider, or should it be 2 gallons? I this 2 lb is about a 1/4
gallon or so.2 lbs of apple cider should be roughly 32 ozs, so you are right on the money!

Im here to research the effects of mash temps on the flavor and mouth feel. But it seems to me
that a 45 degree fluctuation in a mash would be a bad thing. Go too high and you kill the
enzymes I think...
