- Received a homebrew kit from a close friend as a wedding present and used it once. The beer turned out horrible. It seemed like a lot of effort and I was disappointed. So the equipment sat in the basement for the past decade. In 2010 I dug it out, cleaned off the cobwebs (literally), and am giving it a second chance.

Just did a citra IPA. Used chinook for bittering, all citra at end and I dry hopped with 1 oz
of both citra and amarillo for six days. It's plenty chewy, wish I would've cut it to 1.5 oz

Somewhere on here I read that undiluted Starsan will bleach plastic laminate. So when I mix up
a batch I am doubly careful not to drip or spill. It may not burn your skin, but trashing your
