Maybe to a handful of people that have a better sense of taste and smell than the majority of
us. The average Joe most likely won't be able to tell the difference. I'd keep 'em all at
    .5.Awesome, appr...

OK, I think I may have caused a little confusion. Since my initial response was based the
thought that you were doing 5 gallons, let me restate. What I would do:eliminate the 30
    minutekeep the 15 minut...

I guess the question is how bitter do you want this? That's a heck of a hop aroma punch for a 3
gallon batch. I find that sometimes too many late/dry hops without enough bitterness or malt
    character t...

Looking to brew this soon! How prominent is the pepper flavor? Also I think I might dry hop
with some Nelson savuin to give it a bit more juicy flavor. What's everyone think?

I think this is going to be one of my next beers - ghandi has been one of my wants for a while
and the hop schedule looks right up my alley. Will scale down to 3 gal though so i can biab on
    my current...

did my first BIAB with this as a 3gal batch. Missed the OG a bit which i think was due to my
mash temp which dropped to about 149 halfway through. Smells awesome in the fermenter and went
    crazy in the...

  • Posted in thread: first BIAB - 3gal in 5gal pot? on 04-22-2014 at 06:03 PM
In my experience, online calculators and freeware brewing software tend to be conservative on
attenuation numbers. For example, they tend to consider crystal malts and such to give little
    or no fermen...

bag and grains, add water back to until your at the max level for the pot, hold the remainder
