  • This is going to sound real stupid, but I was watching Good Eats on Food Network and there was an episode about brewing beer and it looked really cool. That was probably June of '06. I bought a couple books and my interest grew. So February of '07 I bought my first starter kit and I 'm going from there. I've got a few under my belt and they are just getting better and better.

    I know it's a bit off topic, but when you brew in the garage in that kind of weather, what do
    you do with the runoff? Run it out to the yard or to a drain inside?
