Home Brewing Biography: Our first brew set up was a birthday gift for my boyfriend....I might have slightly taken over. We started basic and soon thereafter we added a "shot out" fridge for lagering, more carboys, more recipes, more everything!!!
Just celebrated our First Anniversary of brewing!!

Secondary: Hope's Drool (A Brown Ale, named after our dog)
Bottled: Bacon/Maple Stout, Hope's drool, Hazelnut Brown.

I put bacon in primary for a Bacon/Maple stout that was/is AWESOME!!! With all the maple it

I have heard that no, they aren't so good. The glass is weaker on the threads and can't hold
the cap. Also, IME Stella bottles don't cap so easy either.Hope it works out,Sarah.

What about the thermometers "dies"?? Taylors are usually pretty good--as long as you don't drop
them. They're able to be calibrated. Maybe try that?? is my favorite kitchen "toys" website.
