  • I've been brewing since fall of 2009. I do 5 gallon batches. I've bottled and kegged. I've recently starting brewing all-grain batches, washing yeast, 1st wort hopping, parti gyle/party style, and any other money-saving, beer-improving techniques that i can adopt. I've brewed: Scotch Ale(kit that came with startup equipment); Bubblegum Adventure Stout (hops gave a bubblegum aroma); Dark Fart Malted Cider (ferment temp got too high and turned cider sulfury); Steam Punk Beer 4969 (rye steam beer, bottles primed with Belgian Candi Sugar...mmmm); Belgian Brown (meant to be more of an India Brown Ale, i underhopped, and the belgian ale yeast became the dominant flavor); Steam Punk Beer 4970 (1st kegged brew, same recipe as 4969, but much better hop season, +10 ibu's); Downtown Julie Brown; Ambore; Fart Cider #2 (bottled, let the smackpac get too hot, farty from the beginning); Fresh Hop Downtown J Brown; Ambore 2; Koelsch; Red Smoke; Dryhopped Ambore; Beer Lite; Trudi(Am Brown)
  • Black Beer, Breakfast Stout, Maple Ale, Ol' Sh*tkicker (old ale, 10% abv), Smoked Porter, Imperial Cruiser Pale (shooting for 8%abv and hoppy, but not quite ipa hoppy), Schwarz, so many more...
