I do smaller batches and my pot fits in the oven - so I heat oven to 170-180, then turn off and
put pot in warm oven to mash...

????Wow, I had no clue beets could be roasted let alone go well in a beer. Wish I could try it

Bottled a batch of Yoopers pale ale, splitting some of it to rack on beet. Also brewed a 20
minute "heffe amber" (using some left over ingred)...

Bottled my first batch of this - wow tastes great flat and warm! Racked a gallon of it on 3/4
pounds of puréed roasted frozen beet as an experiment - we'll see how the final products

1 extract, then a few partial extracts, then BIAB the last 6 batches - so easy. I can't see
doing anything else... standard practice for all-grain in Australia too, btw...

Brewed w/a saison yeast, tried a bottle at 5 days then 10. Super clear, clean, mostly like I'd
expect a blonde, but with a little saison twang / slightly spicy scent / crispness... Super
