You'll definitely need to insulate your kettle to get a strong rolling boil and should leave
the lid on until you get up to temp.

No, I have a Glycol Chiller that pulls 17 amps. I've only found analog Johnsons beefy enough to
support the compressor and they tend to stick.

I found that was touch and go with the Camco elements too. I had some fit and some that just
wouldn't. Depends largely on the bends.

No prep needed if it's wet and fresh. just don't leave any head space when filling it with a
beer. As for the style I found a belgian tripel works great. Just know that a barrel that small
won't take ...
