  • I'll need to update this later. Way too many good questions for the profile that I need to answer first. Let's just say I'm an Oklahoman who left for greener pastures in Kansas and just came back to Oklahoma. Boomer Sooner!

  • I moved into a new house in 2005. There was one guy in the cul-de-sac that brewed beer. He moved. My friend and I picked up the gauntlet and started to brew regularly. Learned a lot about brewing and learned to appreciate beer more.

I just moved back to OKC and starting to brew on my own. Just getting back in the rhythm is difficult. It took six months before I was ready to brew. I'm now on track to brew at least once a month. I figure that's the amount of time it will take me to drink each batch. Though, I could be wrong. I just finished my kegerator, so I may need to increase the schedule...

I currently have a pilsner in the keg and being force carbonated.

I'm heading up to Omaha next weekend and was wondering if there were any recommendations for
good beer. Brewpubs or any place with a wide selection of craft beer would be nice. Thanks in

While the Boulevard tours are booked way in advance, it never hurts to call and be put on the
waiting list. They'll call you if you have a cancellation. It's a long shot, but they are the
    best brewery...

IIRC, The UK doesn't limit annual home brew production! Or require a state license....

I would have to say that it's our geography that's better. We have all major climate zones and
population centers. If you don't like where you live, you can always find something more to
    your liking q...

Today I went to the beer fridge and realized I was out of beer. No big deal, as I had a second
keg ready to go from my last batch. I disconnected the old and hooked up the new and I am
    greeted by that...

For my last two brew sessions, my propane burner flame seemed very low. It would take nearly
two hours to boil my 6.5 gallons of water. I swapped propane tanks and fiddled with the
    regulator and nothi...

I used to live in Overland Park, KS and I like Land Rovers. So I merged the two into

If you want to drink at Oktoberfest, go to the tents first. You have to be seated to be served
and the seats fill up early. If you go later in the day, you will be relegated to very long
    wait. If you'...

Didn't some chick innoculate and distribute a beer with her own "house yeast"? Maybe you'd like
a pint or two of that? That's the grossest thing I think I've ever read. Please let it not be
