You could do a test, with a common amount of strike water, and see how much heat your MLT will
absorb. Similar to what the others are saying, but with a little more Scientific Method applied

Double-R is right. The easiest thing to use is a SS braided toilet drain line. Cut the ends
off, pull out the rubber hose in the middle, and use a hose clamp to seal it off.

I have found that using a dishwasher (no soap, water only) works great for sanitizing your
