I think it was 04. When I started using this yeast I noticed it didn'd get after it as other
yeasts I've used in the past, but this one was the worst. And you are right, the krausen
doesn't last very ...

I used to have this problem on every batch I made after it first appeared. After I started
brewing and racking in the garage the problem went away. I believe it is some kind of mold that
is in the air...

Don't worry about it. Almost all of my beer has a white film over it but it still tastes fine.
Being in South Texas where the humidity is always high I believe mine is some sort of mold.
