If they are not cooled they will continue to carbonate and bottle bombs are very real
possibility. I over carbed a batch and got bottle bombs (not fun) and after cooling them tried
the burping method ...

Just an update....... I made a starter with the London ESB Yeast and it took off like a rocket.
