  • I started homebrewing at the ripe age of 16 brewing extracts I ordered from the mail. Skipped a few years once I went off to college but picked it up again about 6 months ago when I started building my new setup jumping right into all grain brewing. (Now that I don't have to hide my equipment.)

    Cascade only makes a great APA!! I don't understanding the sugar though. I use 18 lbs of 2 row
    in my 10 gal batches, and a few misc other grains for 22 lbs total. May be a little much but it

    I think that $500K number comes from using the retail price of $9.99/bottle. Obviously the
    batch did not cost the brewery that much at that point in production and distribution cycle.
