Did you possibly pitch the yeast too warm, specifically, above 90F? If its a week old and
nothing is growing in it then you have very good sanitation! Did you taste your sample to make

Moerlein lager house, Hofbrauhaus, Mecklenburg gardens are all solid choices. Also quite a few
local breweries here with taprooms.

If possible, just take the whole gas assembly (CO2 tank, lines, regulator, distributor, etc)
and submerge in the bath tub. Just look for bubbles and you'll know where your leaks are.I

Lacto infections sometimes taste/smell like soured milk or greek yogurt (to me anyway) ...
intensity can vary and in a very strong beer may not be perceptible at first.
