I say you may get a slightly higher ABV but I don't see that there would be any real harm. This

I always add my sample back in. Why waste good beer with every sample. As long as you sanitize
properly you'll be fine.

Try adding 1/2 a lb or less DME/LME per gal of water boiled. When you boil all of your DME/LME
at the beginning it burns or darkens by the end of the boil. It's the same process bread goes

Does anyone use a wine degasser to aerate their wort. I was reading a link for Skeeter Pee and
he used it to aerate that. Wondering if people use it for beer.

What about the Xmas type spices. Cloves, ginger, nutmeg, allspice, cinnamon, juniper berries,

Regardless using Idophore takes too long. StarSan may not be cheap but the instant sanitizing
and no rinse makes it the best and easiest to use.

Idophor takes so long to sanitize. 20-30 min. Way too long IMO. Free or not, toss it and grab
some StarSan. And stay away from the dishwasher lol
