    Either it wasn't done fermenting (what was the FG supposed to be and what did you read?) or an
    infection.Cold crashing doesn't "suck in extra" it just allows the CO2 to be absorbed better.

    I let it sit in primary until it's clear, and then transfer to keg.This is what I do too.
