    yes, thats exactly what you do. If you want after you put it under pressure just shake it for a
    few minutes, let sit for 1/2 hour, and then it should be ready to drink.

    here is some of the syrups i was talking about in my last commentsams club has 1 and 5 gallon
    units of generic syrups this place has 2.5 gallon and 5 gallon name brand syrups

    I fill mine with just regular coke, and set the psi at around 7 with the temp being about 40F.
    I use 6feet of line and everything comes out fine, it takes normal and not flat. Just go buy a
    1-2 2litte...

    Wouldnt filling the keg with water and then adding the syrup before carbonation be the easiest?
