    It's probably fine. Wait another 24 hours till you worry.Until then, what temp did you pitch
    at? And what temp is it fermenting at? Have you taken a gravity reading?Pitched at 75.Basement

    I put a batch of robust porter in the fermentor on Monday. It was a brewers best kit.
    Everything went smooth and had no issues. It's almost 48 hrs later and still not seeing any
    action in the airlock....

    I Used a brewers best kit for red ale. Followed directions that came with it. I put exactly 5

    7 days in primary. About an inch of sludge. Filled 22 oz bottles and got 21 filled. Plus 2 32
    oz ez caps. Left a little in fill bucket just to make sure I didn't get any sludge.

    Just brewed my first batch of beer and bottled today. Wondering how much waste there is. Only
    filled about 500 oz out of the possible 640. What's the normal amount of waste?
