    I use the smack packs all the time. I usually smack them a day or two before my brew day and
    get them in a diluted wort as a yeast starter

    thanks, I ended up using my landlords fridge in the basement, kind of tore it apart and put my
    keg in there to keep a consistent cool temperature, so everything turned out great
