  • I have a three-tiered setup, a 20.5 gallon kettle and a 10 gallon kettle, a 10 gallon Igloo round cooler mashtun with custom screen from Adventures in Homebrewing. My grain mill is a motorized Monster Mill 3 with at additional hopper to fit enough grain for 10 gallon batches. I keg all my beer using ball lock, 5 gallon, corny kegs. I have a keezer with four taps on it currently.
  • I always prefer European Pilsners, Lighter Ales. However, I will make on occasion a Coffee Stout for the wife and other styles upon request.

    Are you fermenting the entire 10 gallon batch in one vessel or splitting it up? If you are
    fermenting in one are you pitching quite a bit more yeast than your five gallon required? Long
