Fermentation chamber build this weekend! Just out of curiosity, what is the internal height of your chamber, and do you find it adequate? My current plans are for a 4' x 4' chamber that is 29" high. I figure that should be tall enough for any of my fermenters (Sanke, carboy, or bucket) with an airlock.

Hmmm...maybe I'll make it a little taller then. I was going 4x4" so that I could also store meads and other bulk aging liquids in there along with the primary fermenters. I think I'll stick with that as I want the space to expand if necessary.

Dorm fridge. I've done the calcs, and with the amount of insulation I will have, and a max outside temp of 70F, I should only need 40 BTU/hr to keep it at 60F. So a small dorm fridge should be adequate.

When's the next tasting? After this party on the 16th, I can host everyone at my place for a tasting. Especially since all my stuff is on tap...

Sounds like rocketman is gone until Sept with an internship. So maybe we'll have you guys over for lunch/dinner in early August.
