I don't see how it would hurt to leave it on gas, but if you want to free up the line just
attach it once a week to insure it stays at pressure.

I'd be tempted to skip tbe sugar and 5 minute addition, you seem to be chasing the roasty
coffee flavors, not hop flavors. Sugar will thin the mouthfeel fighting the oats, seems
antagonistic. Unless y...
