  • it all started when i got my roomate a mr. beer kit for christmas one year. after we "brewed" a can of hopped malt extract, he told me about this new home brew store that just opened up. i went there to check it out and came out with a new brew pot, a bucket fermenter, all the basic nesecities, and a recipie for an irish red ale. after the first minuite of brewing i was hooked!

i had two bucket fermenters and two glass carboys. one of each misteriousley disapeared when i moved. right now i have a cheap aluminum 5 gal brewpot, a bucket fermenter, glass carboy, and bottling bucket. i just made a wort chiller that works like a champ four under $40. i bottle about 12 bottles for friends and family, while the rest go to the corny keg setup i have.

looking to get a nice stainless steel brewpot with a ball valve and a diptube.

I did this about an hour ago on my 6.5 gallon glass carboy. I don't see why it would be any
different with a bb. Take a cup of plain uncooked rice and a half cup of baking soda then pour
    it in your bb...

since you let your tank sit for a couple years then i think you have to pay for it. is this
your personal tank? or is it one you got from a swap?
