  • my brew set up is a bit minimal for all grain. I use the death brewer method to mash in a bag. 5.5 gallon stainless pot, or 35qt pot for large grain bills, grain in bag...pot in oven to hold temp. Best purchase ever was a 50ft stainless wort chiller....cut brew time by at least 45 minutes.

    I'm curious about your temps and the oven:you stated that you mashed and steeped. The high 160
    degree temps would indicate "steeping" which is normally associated with extract and partial
    mash brewing...
